Tommeeek. You ask why is Fred's incompetence tolerated??

Take your pick of the following...

a) an enabling board of directors too scared to even buy shares on the open market.

b) e.digital's lack of capital to go out and hire someone to replace him (until they found someone more incompetent in JC).

c) Even Fred started looking good again after the company was nearly destroyed by Jim Collier's dysfunctional skill sets.

d) Fred was the only one in the company with a "sales" background.

e) His Junior College degree and impressive public speaking skills were just too compelling to let him go.

Who really knows??

PS Don't get me wrong. I'm holding on to my shares (in spite of FF/SF) because I sincerely believe the company may succeed due to strong engineering personnel and proprietary technology.
