Good question. Why does anyone betray their people? They're getting something THEY want in return.
Now ask yourself why US Marshalls no longer takes oaths to the Constitution, but serve the UN now. You may have a lot to learn about where the politicos in your country has lead you, undermining your very rights.

It's a sad, drawn out story.
