That would generally be true, and perhaps that is how it will play out, but one must study the context within which a Doji appears to correctly interpret its implications. This particular Doji appears within a very negative context, following first a candle with a topping tail (reversal), then a Bearish Engulfing candle (trend reversal) with which it forms an Harami Cross (strong trend reversal). These three candles and the formations they create are in and of themselves in no way indecisive (note also that the negative signals are progressing from weaker to stronger).

The only ambiguity in these candles and what they indicate lies in the fact that this particular Harami Cross looks more like a bottom-reversal than a top-reversal signal, despite appearing in an uptrend. I am very curious to see how this plays out. I will learn something new, for sure.
