ot, Bullwinkle, I liked your spin of the day...
I have noticed that our local TV news/weather etc. has turned into one giant sound byte for the (ADHD crowd) and hooks to keep you watching... 30 sec. weather forecast ending with more to come later. 30 sec. news byte about something interesting, watch us at 10 to see the story....

Commercial local TV news seems to me like it has morphed itself into the news/weather being nothing but a commercial for the commerials.
