Some people think that these scans will be routine to test for early, asymptomatic AD for everyone at say age 40 or 45…

This might eventually make sense when there are safe and effective treatments for AD. As of now, the main benefit of obtaining such information would seem to be in the realm of estate planning rather than medicine.
