That could well be: I would certainly think a "resolution" to the MSFT case would be taken as a positive by the market, given most any outcome short of a MSFT breakup, which of course won't happen. ("Resolution" is of course a highly misleading notion here, since there will likely be appeals, etc., etc., in response to today's decision.) Maybe we're already pricing that in today, but then it seems odd that MSFT is not getting any lift ahead of the decision.

I certainly wouldn't be short the markets ahead of this decision, regardless of the fact that I remain quite bearish about the real economy.
