Realistically.......that is unlikely to happen. With a smaller unit that you are suggesting, the homeowner would still have to provide wood or other biomass to manufacture the end product themselves.....which would be either dust, pellets or briquettes. I know I wouldn't want a small KDS and a pellet machine in my basement......the expense and the associated effort would be to great for the average homeowner. However.......if the pellets were available cheaply....made locally by this smaller machine....and delivered to my home at a reasonable cost....then a unit similar to what is provided by D. Dungate at ACT Bioenergy might be feasible. Even this may be too much for a single family dwelling. However, it is cost efficient for a multi-family dwelling or an apartment complex.
