Exactly Blue Wizard. One should never invest his/her money into a stock where they have not done a thorough bit of research, weighed the pros (making $$'s) & cons (losing those same $$'s), and made a decision as to what the risks and benefits are.

And yes - If the conditions change or new information comes to light - re-evaluate the risk/reward.

But never, never, never buy on uninformed impulse, or sell in a panic without a game plan and triggers for enacting that game plan in place.

We all make irrational & bad decisions now and again. The trick is to not make the mistakes too big, and to try and never make the same mistake twice.
