While the run is indeed impressive, I have doubts about the news. Since when do you need utility permission to attach a small generator to a power grid? The interface between the generator and grid needs approval, but not the actual generator, as far as I know, at least not in Texas. The interface is an off the shelf product as far as I know.

It is nice to there stock finally rally.
