if we can put the ideologies aside for a moment, here's all I want (besides personal freedom, national security,and the resat of our constitutional protections):

1. I want legislation that prevents Wall Street from ripping us off again. Something as simple as changing the accounting rules to prevent them from getting their huge ass bonuses up front on ficticious profits. Wall Street has stolen enogh money from us already.

2. I want energy independence. yes energy will cost more, but the money will stay in the US and it will definitely create more jobs. And we'll save a ton of money reducing our precense in the Middle East.

3. I would like disincentives for outsourcing. Not so much that it smacks of protectionism or interfering with fair markets, but something that insentivizes big business to create jobs for American workers.

is that asking for too much ?
