What do you make of it? The 13 day rule will be effective starting tomorrow. That is the 13th trading day from Oct. 15th. My take on it is that any brokerage that shorted between Oct. 15th till today and doesn't have the shares will have to pay up starting tomorrow going forward till Nov. 15th. So, let's say Nite is called on this friday for being short 13 days prior, they would have to pony up. This would be for any brokerage on any day between tomorrow and Nov. 15th. I hope to understand this correctly.
