OTCQB is the middle tier of the OTC market. OTCQB companies are registered and reporting with the SEC or a U.S. banking regulator, making it easy for investors to identify companies that are current in their reporting obligations. There are no financial or qualitative standards to be in this tier.The OTCQB is a market tier for OTC-traded U.S. companies that are registered and reporting with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or a U.S. banking or insurance regulator. OTCQB stocks are identified with an icon reading “OTCQB – U.S. Registered." OTCQB securities may also be quoted on FINRA’s OTC Bulletin Board. The OTCQB allows investors to easily identify registered and reporting companies traded in the OTC market regardless of where they are quoted.
