Um, it looks like mostly it has been the funds doing year end (for them) tape painting, and also end of month. Help by the fed, and terrorism worries, and in my opinion a resulting stock market proping.

But we were just trying to decide if the funds have to take the closing price, or can take the high of the day as the "mark up" for their end of month/year numbers.
