Many labels are written this way. ALS and MS are on label use because other underlying causes haven't been proven in both efficacy and safety.

I do have problem with the article. In ALS and MS, the condition is well known by neurologists treating these conditions today. If the article were written in 2006, there would be truth to it back then even in MS and ALS patients.
