I don't think the SUCCEED trial by any means is a failure at this point.

I just have pointed out (several times) the fact that the trial wasn't overwhelmingly statistically significant at the 2nd Interim led me to the conclusion that the drug wasn't showing tremendous amounts of statistical significance (like some of the predictions I saw from others on other message boards which predicted >100% increase - those posts were very well written posts, BTW) - because, as you just said, ethically, if it was showing tremendous stat significance, I think it would be wrong to NOT stop the trial (as they did with Toricel and Afinitor) - and - have pointed out that The Harv spun it many times there was a "reasonable chance" of an NDA filing based on the 2nd Interim, which never happened - and considering The Harv is a LOT closer than any of us to Ridaforolimus and trials, why would he say it in the first place if he didn't believe it.

In my view, despite Don keep spinning it that I am insisting on the trial as a failure, I am just a lot more skeptical than him on the outcome (but as he just said, he predicts >50% - <100% success rate, which is a lot to be desired for a substantive prediction endpoint release).
