I still have my concern with this line of thinking.

MNTA's share of development costs coming from MNTA's profit seems more natural to me. Since NVS has already paid for its share for development costs , why should it pay the development costs again from its share of profit? That seems incorrect. I doubt if the deal is structured that way. I'd happy to see any official news/statements explaining the deal.
