Charter dumped some smaller cable providers to Orange Broadband (which, became Baja Broadband). WNRC hired a former VP of Charter, who helped get WNRC's Reno Azteca America Affiliate on to Charter...and he constructed a deal to acquire part of Baja Broadband - which, at one time was Charter).

It would only make sense that if Charter wants to hand off some of its other small market cable subscribers why would they not want to work directly (if they aren't already) with WNRC. It would make sense for Charter to buy some stock in WNRC and then do an self-financed deal with WNRC to shed more of these micro cable entities. Charter would make money on the stock, still maintain some control, but carry no risk in ownership.

My biggest gainer this year is only up 10,000%! :)
