It will be the development of high CBD:THC ratios that will be the most significant aspect, rather than just high THC strains. Keep in mind that most if not all commercially available strains on the market these days have less that 1%CBD. There is a new strain out of Spain called "Cannatonic" that has a 1:1 CBD:THC ratio. Mr Nice Seed Co is using this high CBD strain to develop a new med strain called "The remedy"
I do know that the strain that CBIS has developed has in excess of 8% CBD which is terrific. If you know anything at all about breeding cannabis, you would appreciate how good this CBIS strain must be.
