A couple observations:
1) The collective wisdom of this thread is really impressive as usual. Zeev is an awesome trader, but there are a lot of other impressive traders here as well. I'm surprised how many are based in Seattle area. Any of you ever know Paul Douglas - he sold bonds in Seattle,then daytraded, went by the monikor of Dugout on the SI trading threads - he was my old roommate in the 70's.
2) I would maybe play 4% of my portfolio in HOOK on a pullback to $2. I like their alliance with Anheiser, I respect Zeev's balance sheet analysis, I see a good opportunity for a bounce to $3 in January. I agree they have been a value for a long time, and I don't care for the thin trading.
3) My personal opinion is it is much easier to follow Zeev into the Q and the high beta stocks than to follow him into his orphaned value plays.
