Can you explain my pfizer comment? How can pfizer buy very good top quality competitiors for over $200 Billion dollars and lose every penny and then some. Companies aren't supposed to be depriciating assets.

Would Pfizer have been better off doing something else with that money? I'm not picking on Pfizer, because Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle and many many companies are in the same boat.
