Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China (COMAC) just introduced their 170 passenger plane in France. COMAC has stated that they intend to be in strict competition with Airbus and Boeing by 2020.

Their new 170 passenger plane sells for about 1/2 the cost compared to the competition. Embraer (Brazil) was so upset (Comac copied their Embraer 190 , MD-80) they shutdown their Chinese factories immediately.
