MON CC notes: Nothing on today’s CC (which took place 9:30-10:30am) explains today’s price action in which the stock opened sharply higher and then receded, so I presume the pop at the open was due to short covering.

The most consequential revelation from the CC is that the EPA will hold a hearing on MON’s Refuge-in-a-Bag corn in December, which puts the regulatory review on a timeline for a product launch for the 2012 North American growing season.
