To restate my position (to ensure my counterpoint isn't taken out of context). It isn't that I am saying that it is impossible that 3 DAAs will provide a high rate of cure - only that it seems odd to me to suppose that it is anywhere near a sure thing.

That's fair and perhaps I should have added an "attempt" in my prior post as I'm not trying to imply that it's a certainty that 3 DAAs will provide a high rate of cure w/o IFN. The clinical trials will do the ultimate talking of course. I was just trying to make the point in my response to jellybean that neither end of the spectrum is a certainty.
