Ze'ev... up/downgrade stats... My data includes all upgrades and downgrades (at least those that Briefing.com picks up) back to the beginning of 2001. However, about 9/10, four or five major brokerages simplified their rating structure to three levels (buy-hold-sell, or their equivalents). CSFB was one of them. Thus, my data for this particular kind of downgrade is very limited and to be taken with a big grain of salt, particularly in a euphoric market.
