oodles of oil/gas stocks to consider my fave is Suncor (SU) which is developing Alberta's Athabasca it contains between 225-300 billion barrels of oil, from sands cost per barrel is dropping annually, now at $9 thanks to Stanford Univ Engineers
a junior with big promise is KeyWest Energy (KWE.TO) many others out there environmentalists will block most progress in this sector our priorities to protect darting snails, spotted oils, and other creatures still supercedes feeding children via jobs I expect we will see rising commodity prices perhaps not matched by ripe opps for oil/gas firms since limited opps will be available a fine point: in 2001 the US saw 20% more drilling for natgas in terms of budgets & rig counts, but 5-10% less production
check some of the many oil/gas threads on IH and SI my main focus has been gold/silver
