Rockie, I take it as 'good' that the FDIC continues to extend things. I don't expect the extensions to stop, as I stated, until this whole mess is concluded, and the P&A can be put to bed.

This is why the P&A states six years for ultimate resolution of certain items. The FDIC knows it can take a LONG while to complete and tie up a full P&A with a bow.

The alternative just doesn't make sense. Hypothetical: The "resolution" to this fiasco hasn't been solved, nothing settled, appears nothing will be forthcoming, etc. And for what reason would the FDIC voluntarily end their ability to unilaterally extend the P&A pricing, with all of that uncertainty, etc. Makes no sense.
