My point is that there does not seem to be any correlation between jobs and the minimum wage. Raising the minimum wage doesn't seem to reduce employment. During the 90s both welfare rolls and unemployment improved even though the minimum wage was increased. Those increases I might add were for the most part merely adjustments for inflation. I don't see any evidence that justifies your claims.
Part of me wants to ask you if you think we need a minimum wage? Should I be allowed to employ people with out paying them? Should I be able to employ children? I see this much more as a human rights issue. I don't see it as some "redistribution of wealth" at all.
