I never said that the agreement wasn't the best deal they could get at the time, I only said it was bad.



I do not follow your logic (nothing new there).

How can a deal that launches the company, validates their technology leadership, is the "best deal they could get" ALSO be a BAD deal?

BTW - the question is rhetorical - simply intended to demonstrate the logical fallacy.
