LDK Solar (LDK) up 8.6% after an overnight announcement of a loan deal with China Development Bank for 60B yuan ($8.95B) over five years. The state-owned CDB has struck similar solar deals this year extending loans to LDK's rivals Suntech (STP), Trina Solar (TSL), Yingli Green Energy (YGE) and JA Solar (JASO). (yesterday)
