TSM capex. [Reuters] TAIWAN SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING CO (TSM)

- Taiwan Semiconductor, the world's largest contract chipmaker, said on Tuesday it expected 2003 capital expenditure to be lower than this year's US$1.65 billion. The company announced the results after Taiwan's stock market closed on Tuesday. Taiwan Semi closed at $7.48 on Monday on the New York Stock Exchange.
