If this post is accurate perhaps the safest course of action if you own MNTA right now is to sell and check back in a few months, or EOY. There is risk here with the TEVA approval but little to no upside potential, at least in the short term. Perhaps this reasoning is why the pps is languishing.

The safest course of action is always not to own any risky assets. However, if you want to participate in MNTA's potential upside I would highly recommended not selling now. Anything could happen.... MNTA could announce M118 news, a large FOB partnership, Copaxone news, MNTA could get a takeover offer, TEVA could give up on Lovenox, etc.. Some of this news isn't likely to happen in the short term however it could. Nobody knows. Just like approval... Nobody knew approval was going to but granted in late July just that CW thought it was going to be soon. How would you feel if you sold Monday and next week MNTA receives a $25-30 takeover offer or some other piece of news that lifts the share price significantly? You cannot win if you don't play the game.

I am most worried by the continued shorting of the stock. That doesn't make sense but it continues unabated.

IMO, smart shorts sold September and October puts in the ($14-16) level range when premiums were high while shorting MNTA from the low-$20's down. They are now starting to take custody of MNTA shares as the puts finished in the money and will either cover their short position with those shares or they will go long MNTA covering their short position with new share purchases.

I see no reason to worry about continued shorting of the stock. I'd wager the vast majority of MNTA shorts know less about MNTA than Dew or some other members on this board.
