Probrably a good bet re the mobile phone - if PALM were still around I'd say they would be in play. But MSFT is nearly irrelevent in any of the cutting edge/growth areas, all of their acquisitions over the last decade have been nearly worthless as far as I can tell. I'm sure they are glad they bought hotmail!
