Re: $GOLD Chart

Can you be more specific about the problem that you are seeing? I'm not seeing it on this end. Be sure to describe what you are seeing in the text of your message - the chart may change or look different by the time we investigate on this end.

As I noted in my original message:

(The above snapshot is taken every day, so in a sense the above chart is "live" - i.e., tomorrow it might not show what it does today, so there is relatively limited time to investigate the problem.)

Had you looked at the chart during the "limted time" mentioned above (i.e., on October 18), you would have seen that it shows a closing price for October 17 above $320 (don't remember the exact value) - which was clearly wrong. Therefore, there existed some point of time on October 18 when the $GOLD chart changed the closing prices for October 17 that it was displaying.

For now, the chart is correct - but, then, I observed correct closing values on StockCharts.com on October 16 too - which did not prevent that chart from showing wrong values at some time on October 18. So, if you haven't taken any steps to correct the original problem, it is likely to re-occur in the future.

Since $GOLD is one of the symbols I monitor, I'll probably notice it - I had noticed it several days before the original complaint was posted here. If I notice it, I'll post about it here again - using a "still" snapshot image of the wrong value the next time, so that it doesn't change.

Regards,
Vesselin
