Good point.... Here's some interesting info on how the shorts happen on JBII:

There is a 10 day cycle when it comes to actually listing the fails and inside that window there are certainly nakeds

the MMs can sell as much as they want weather they have shares or not.

They sell what they do not have and utilize the time they have before it needs to go on the REGSHO list.

T+3 for normal delivery
Once beyond the 3 days the shares go FTD from that point they have 7 days to make those shares real before it is listed.

they use that cycle to keep off regsho and short the crap out of it in the middle, Rinse and repeat.

If folks manage to hold and not let the MMs scare up the rolling cover they need they can do it over and over and over and have.

That is how they play the pinks, Sell em first, but them back cheaper, or but them back from another MM and reset the cycle.
