OT <<the world's best hummus'.>>

I started this chain with an attempt at wit so I will confess that I was actually thinking of falafel. Lurking in the back of my brain was an experience over the summer when we were on vacation in Paris looking for lunch when we roped into eating at what was claimed to be the "world's best falafel" by what I suspect were ex-Mossad agents turned into falafel ropers.

Hummus strikes me as something that a competent home cook can make quite well, it all depends on the recipe. I'm not sure what would elevate it to world class, perhaps grinding your own tahini with a mortar and pestle.
