While I consider the article overall good, I am a little bit disturbed by the emotional approach to the subject of clinical trial/drug development process rather than scientific approach.

That’s to be expected insofar as we’re talking about a page-1 story in a general-purpose newspaper. The article is a good read, but it does not say anything about clinical-trial design that hasn’t been said many times before. Regards, Dew
