Why did WaMu lose over 3BB when they last reported earnings? Like I said, on Wall Street perception is reality. They had huge exposure to CA RE and Lehman Bros projected those homes to fall another 50% from current prices among other negative calls against WaMu.

If they were doing so well why were their CDS prices soaring? Why were they hoping for a 10BB injection by Banco Santander? Why did they even need TPG's 8BB in the first place? Your statistics don't mean squat when compared to what was taking place at the time. Where do you get the idea that JPM was telling everyone how horrible WaMu was? Everyone knew how horrible they were based on stock price and CDS prices. You ever heard of an analyst? All of them were hating on WaMu. You give way too much credit to JPM.

You paint a picture that all was warm and fuzzy at WaMu. Did you not follow the stock market in late 2007-2008? How about read the Seattle Times or other local news sources to WaMu?

Do you also think that the taking down of Wachovia was also a product of JPM?
