I agree with you that I need to add more explanations of formatting options on the Compose screen. It's on the list. Right, Darth?

What you want is to have your text display in a mono-spaced font just like the one that's used when you're composing a message.

To do that, put < pre > (without spaces) before the tabular data and < /pre > after it.

Non-tabular again because I put in the < /pre >.
