Note also that the ph 2b trial (see link below), which I had not looked at before, doesn't look all that good. Total discontinuation rates were essentially identical between the Peg2B arm and the Locteron arms.

A little bit of a puzzle since the 'flu like symptoms' are clearly lower (but still there) for Locteron and the discontinuation rates due to AE is lower for Locteron. Perhaps it lends credence to the concept that psychiatric symptoms of ifn are the primary cause of discontinuation?

PS Note you cannot readily use the poster from this trial to compare AEs to historical rates since they publish frequency of AEs, not patients with AEs.

PPS Viral count curves look very similar between Peg2B and Locteron.
