I think he has a different approach is all. He's like Columbo. Soft-spoken, non-threatening, just kinda going about his business ho-hum...but oh, by the way, Mr. FDIC, you wouldn't happen to have a copy of that email I asked you for last week would you?

It's a very non-adversarial approach that allows his adversaries to lower their guard and slip up.

He didn't get to be who he is for being incompetent. And I doubt the UST or Susman (behind the scenes) would have pushed to hire him if he wasn't good at what he does.
