The Examiner requested 3 additional weeks to close up what he set out to do and give a final report on Nov 1st.

THJMW granted the extension, however, most here are not aware that the final report is not the final outcome. The final report is a report made by the examiner as to what he found, what appeared to be discrepant information, and what should be done.

Now there will obviously be a lot of questions from both sides arguing what was disclosed and that might also cause the court to extend again more into depth as to these discrepant data and who is behind it.

Cause and reason, motive.

then and only then will the true story come out....

I don't even think a hearing for emergence from BK will be heard this year, maybe early next.

Settlement? maybe... but that could come as a shocker to most if they say that settlement will come from a different hearing.

What most imo think is that a settlement should come from this Chap 11 Bankruptcy hearing; which again imo is an entirely different claim. The argument whether or not A<L or A>L is the big question. How much either way will determine whether WMI exits BK... with or without assets.

I still would have to lay odds with the preferred stock holders. Commons may have to fight another battle for claims and damages depending on the outcome of this BK hearing.

Class action suit would have to be filed against all parties to find out who was at fault. Was it JPM?; or the FDIC?; or the combination of the two in cahoots with each other?; were there others involved that contributed to this debacle? Why was WAMU only sold off for 1.9 Bil dollars and not for more? Other banks i.e. Indy Mac that got approx $30 Bln had only 33 some odd branches, yet WAMU had over 2200+ branches and the paltry sum of $1.9 Bil does not compute. Again, that may have nothing to do with this BK as far as the BK itself and may have to be heard in another court. If that is the case, this could take years and if that happens, there will be nothing left to divide into the remaining shareholders; not at the rates these lawyers are charging... LOL

I could be wrong in my thinking, yet so far.... I have called most of the non-events here. Especially this last one.
