Would one assume that the gap created on Thurs eod would be fiiled at some point

That's an interesting question. I hope we get a more qualified answer than my guess but I would think intraday gaps would be treated almost like you would treat a stock that trades with light volume. Just a few shares (relatively speaking) could create a move like that so I don't think it would be a very reliable indicator. Then again, I may be wrong. gg
