This shorting issue is out of control...go on any board here and there is talk of it running rampant everywhere and depressing stocks .....for the life of me I dont know how it is legal in this day and age or what value it adds to investors and the marketplace. How does shorting help the marketplace ? Can anyone explain ?

I am stupid, do not pay attention to me or my posts...do not make buying or selling decisions based on my banter at all ...I am a negative person by nature and at best an amature investor. Hope everybody makes money here.
