Well, I don't see him fighting like he did in his campaign to fix it.

Sadly, his campaign against Hillary might have been his finest moment.

Amazing how President Obama has fired every single black person who has managed some sort of gaffe like ACORN, Shirly Sherrod, Van Jones...but he allows this hideous person, Alan Simpson to stay on. And this was before Simpson managed to dis every single Iraq and Afghan war vet by basically calling them leeches.

Simpson stays on deficit panel: White House

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Alan Simpson, the Republican co-chairman of a commission on the U.S. budget deficit created by U.S. President Barack Obama, remains on the panel despite a controversial remark in an e-mail, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said on Monday.

"We regret that he sent that email. We don't condone those comments," he said, but said Simpson would remain on the panel.
