Honestly, if there is a doubt I may have with a daily chart, I can help myself by looking at a weekly to see the big picture especially if the company is in a sector I understand and know what the prevailing longterm trend is. Then, if the trade goes against me, I will know if it is in a range that will be acceptable and then let the market come to me perhaps even adding to the basic position.
