what will make or break this company is the FDA's decision. if they approve, the stock should do very well. if not, the stock price will get hammered. all of this right now is just noise. insiders do not know what the FDA will decide. if they do and they are selling, then that is insider trading and they could go to jail. if nothing else, they would be on their best behavior and not risk going to jail by selling a few shares. as someone who owned shares in dendreon, investors would always yell and scream about the ceo selling shares, doing an offering etc. everyone thought he had inside info that the FDA was going to issue another approvable letter. it turns out the FDA did approve and the stock has done very well. in fact, the ceo was doing some of this when the stock was in the $7's and then one day it took off to the $30's. i wouldn't read too much into what AVNR's ceo is doing. i am sure he has a ton of stock options and the selling he's done is more for tax purposes.
