somehow, i think what they had in mind is a tad different than your reference of my previous ONE incident, which in and of itself was debatable at best.
but, on the other hand i applaud you acknowledging my near stellar record of postings of late. and how few TOU i have.
however, your last comment riles me a bit. i have given IHUB countless hours upon hours of my time. helping assist moderating on the most consistently busy stock boards on ihub, WAMUQ. additionally, i also have brought much order to the wild west board of JBII, the JUGGERNAUT, which prior to my installation of ASST. MOD was just a haven for bashers to park their rear ends.
in fact, during the most recent debacle which coincidentally shut the board down, i was instrumental for singlehandedly deleting post after post of totally unsubstantiated spammish, and off topic posts in an effort to gain some comportment of the board.
of course, even though i had an equally stellar record of posting there, i was limited to 5 posts a day for some unknown reason.
which brings me to the latest sanction. this erroneously, and exaggerated 60 day jail sentence. clearly i had made some responses, in a joking manner of course to an ihub member with a specific moniker. thinking it was humorous, along with others, i concocted a couple of signatures which reflected T.V. characters, and more or less played along.
now, i have read, and re-read the rule about what constitutes a VOP in ihub eyes. clearly, there is/was no specific intent on my part to imbue any information about anyone, other than the poster which ihub recognized as a member, no less at the time.
my feeling, and belief of course was that if IHUB allowed a member with a certain moniker, then, of course i could respond to him, and or refer to him, in a clearly innocuous manner as i did.
i really feel ihub has erred here grossly, in its interpretation of not only what i allegedly did, but in the true meaning of the VOP rule.
i would like my sentence commuted for time served. and, as an additional impetus for ihub in consideration of my commutation, i will proffer this:
if, by any metric, i violate the VOP rule again, i should be subject to a 2 year suspension.
i think that will show anyone considering this, my seriousness on the matter.
