Expecting rationality out of each short term stock movement is error. The difficulty is that at times the movements are rational and are based on uneven dissemination of information. And when we get punched, we remember it and conclude the market is rational and better informed than we are. But that is not always the case.
I may still prove wrong in my views of how the L market will split.
