CalciTech upgrades facility in Germany
Geneva, Switzerland, August 31st 2010 - CalciTech Ltd. (OTCBB: CLKTF) announces today that its wholly owned subsidiary CalciTech Synthetic Minerals Europe Ltd. (CSME) has moved its German operations to a new facility in Leuna. This facility, which is just adjacent to the Leuna chemical complex, was chosen to fulfil the requirements of a further stage in product and application development.
The installation of the pilot plant in the new facility has been designed to allow its extension to test the forthcoming phases in our technical development program, including the conversion of de-inked paper sludge into Synthetic Calcium Carbonate (SCC) and Sustainable Metakaolin (SMK).
The laboratory and offices will allow for an increase in the technical staff working on the phased introduction of a number of industrial plants in Europe.
