Does anyone have any proof that he sold any of his shares this week or does he simply have them in position to sell on any run? I would hope that he would clarify his position and why he converted the preferred to common.

I would have a concern if he sold any shares this past week as that wouldn't be a good PR move and would indicate to me that upcoming results aren't that good. Now if he has held those shares I would feel a lot better about that as it would indicate that better news is forthcoming.
